Getting Started
Creating an Account
To get started on Solshi, simply create an account using your email address or social media account. You'll receive a unique identifier that you can use to access your account across devices.
Making Your First Trade
Browse available markets and select one that interests you. Review the market details, including the question, possible outcomes, and current prices. When you're ready, place an order to buy or sell contracts.
Understanding Markets
What are Prediction Markets?
Prediction markets allow you to trade contracts that pay out based on whether specific events occur. The prices of these contracts reflect the collective probability assessment of all traders, providing real-time forecasts for future events.
How Prices Work
Contract prices range from $0.01 to $0.99 and represent the probability that an outcome will occur. For example, a contract priced at $0.75 means the market believes there's a 75% chance that outcome will happen.
Trading
Placing Orders
You can place market orders (executed immediately at current prices) or limit orders (executed only when prices reach your specified level). Orders are matched with other traders on the platform.
Selling Positions
You can sell contracts you own at any time before a market closes. Selling allows you to lock in profits or limit losses based on how prices have moved since you bought.
Account Management
Viewing Your Portfolio
Access your account dashboard to view your current positions, trading history, account balance, and performance statistics.
Account Settings
Update your display name, notification preferences, and security settings from your account menu.
Safety and Security
Protecting Your Account
Keep your account identifier secure and don't share it with others. Use strong, unique credentials and enable two-factor authentication if available.
Recognizing Scams
Be cautious of unsolicited messages asking for your account information. Solshi will never ask for your password or account identifier via email or direct message.
